Single person sign up for 2-week focusĀ on stabilization, balancing out the right & left sides of the body, working on dynamic movements for increased burst, and better form overall. Over the 2 week period between HDT rounds this is our primary focus, while mixing it in sporadically over the 6 weeks of an HDT round as well. No required equipment, but you can challenge yourself more with a few tools to increase the instability.
3 body weight workouts each week with some rucking and running mixed in. Each workout will hit TWO of the body areas (upper, lower, or core), while mixing them up over the course of each week.
This program will focus on cardiorespiratory, form, and also on proprioceptive/balance work aimed at Type I muscle fibers (slow twitch).
In working these muscle you can increase the stability of the joint, helping to reduce joint related injuries (ie Knee, Ankle, Shoulder joints). Multiple scientific papers breakdown how proprioceptive training can benefit athletes.
