About The Event
You get to choose how this event goes, the required reading allows you to request different wilderness survival ideas/techniques from the book that we will work on over the weekend. This is a laid back event where we spend most of the day doing tasks and evening hanging around the campfire. You will be sleeping in your self-made shelters over the 2 nights. The packing list for this event is also based on what ideas/techniques for survival people want to work on or try. Requests should be submitted no later than one month out to allow for the participants to all have time to purchase needed items.
During this event you will learn to live off the land, communicate with locals, and survive. This event is aimed at getting you out of your comfort zone while learning a necessary trade that so many ignore. Humans do not rise to the occasion, we only fall back on our training. Do you have the necessary skills to fall back on?
There is no sandbag or ruck required for this event. There will be an official packing list (think of anything you would want to have for a weekend camping) that will be posted at a later date (no later than one month from the event). You will be getting wet so you will want to bring a towel and change of clothing.
